Mohammad-Reza Khatami, the brother of Iranian President Mohammad Khatami, talks to journalists at a press conference in Tehran 09 February 2000. Khatami, who heads the reformist Participation Front, blasted those trying to boost political tension throughout Iran, nine days before parliamentary elections and two days after he was attacked at an electoral meeting in the provinces by conservatives.
