| Taking into account that campaign activities subject to Article 56 of the amended law of election of the Islamic Consultative Assembly is limited to 8 days, if candidates campaign before the agreed time, shall be there any punishment for the violator? |

Restriction of campaigning from the time of nomination until announcement of the final list of the approved nominees by the executive board, covers before and after the said time, unless the campaigning it is not under the title of candidature.
The above stated Legal interpretation including a single article was passed by the Islamic Consultative Assembly on Tuesday 18.02.1992 and was approved by the Guardian Council on 18.02.1992. |
